WBCC Auction Rules

Dear WBCC members,
The WBCC Auction is restricted to WBCC Members only.
The WBCC has not seen any of the lots offered for sale
and thus cannot comment on the items.
The purchase contract is strictly between the buyer
and seller with the WBCC only the medium of contact.
Bidders
Please email your bids to Rod
Sell with details of the Seller & lot number, your bid amount and
your name.
As soon as possible the bid page will be updated with your bid.
All values listed - reserves and bids are in US$. For settlement
members can make their own currency arrangements.
The Auction will close at the time listed in the auction, Sydney
time when the page will be updated and an Auction Closed notice will be
posted at the top of the page.
At the close of the Auction it is up to the buyer and seller to
make contact and close the deal.
The WBCC is only the means of making the contact between buying
and selling Members.
Due to space limitations images of lots will only be maintained
for a limited time. Buyers should make a copy if they wish a record.
Sellers
A new Auction will commence each week with details of the lots on
offer in the weekly newsmail.
Those members wishing to place items in the auction should email
the details to Rod Sell .
There is a limit of 20 lots per auction. Members will be listed
in the order their first item is received.
The minimum reserve on each lot is US$1. If you feel your
item has a lower value please combine it with another bi-metallic. Lots
are restricted to Bi-metallics and Tri-metallics only. This includes
encased and inlay items.
The details should include the Bi-metallic or Tri-metallic for sale.
Country, denomination, condition( unless there is a scan) and reserve.
If possible a scan of the coin should also be sent. The lots will
be listed by member in the order they are received with the members email
for contact at the end of the Auction. Large scans will be reduced
in size.
Lots received after 10 PM Friday night Sydney time, before the next
day's Auction, will be entered in the following auction.
The purpose of the Auction is mainly for Members entertainment and
as such members are requested to place realistic reserves.
HOW To BID
Bids will be listed in the order they are received,
provided they are higher than the current bid.
The minimum bid will be the
reserve listed.
The maximum
bid. What you
enter in your email will be
listed or adjusted
to one bid above the highest bid received and will be adjusted upwards as
required, until your maximum is reached.
Please make your maximum bids fit the increments listed below.
Bids shown with an asterisk * indicate there is a higher maximum bid.
Bidding increments are.
For lots at $1 to $10, bid
increments are 50 cents.
For lots at $10 to $20 , increments
are $1.
For lots at $20 to $50 increments
are $2.
For lots at $50 to $100 increments are $5.
For lots over $100 increments are $10.
Bids which do not fit the above increments will be lowered to the
nearest correct bid.
For example a bid of $27.50 will be adjusted to $26.00
Bids do not include postage.
