1. Bi-metallic 1 and 2 Euro 2017 Change of the reverse....by Frans Dubois, The Netherlands
Change of the reverse of the Euro in 2017, including the Bi-metallic 1 and 2 Euro
Since 2002 the euro is the currency for most of the European countries.
One side is the common side that is used in all countries but the reverse is different for all the countries.
This side of the coin is specific for each country but can only be changed when there is a new king or queen (or pope)
Euro coins from The Netherlands till 2014:
In 2014 the images changed because of the new king:
The other countries are allowed to change their images after 15 years.
That means that next year, in 2017, some countries will change the national side image of their euro coins.
San Marino is the first that decided to make a new design for the coins of 2017.
The new image is not known yet.
2. Bi-metallic 2 Euro 2017 from Belgium.... by Pabitra Saha, UK
Belgium will issue two Bi-metallic 2 Euro in 2017
The two coins will commemorate 200th Anniversaries of the Universities of Ghent and Liege.
3. Bi-metallic 25 Kuna 2016 from Croatia.....by Frans Dubois, The Netherlands

25th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Croatia the final design is known now
