2. Bi-metallic 1 Pound 2015/2016/2017 from UK....by Max Aiello, Italy
At the end of March the Royal Mint has issued the new 12-sided Bi-metallic £1 coin. They have issued coins dated 2016 and also dated 2017,
but they have also issued 10,000 coins in BU condition dated 2016 that bear the rare "cross  crosslet" mint mark.

The specifications are the same:
weight 8.75 g., diameter 23.03 mm., reverse designer is David Pearce, obverse designer is Jody Clarke
It also exists a trial piece dated 2015
