dedicated to the reed (Phragmites australis). The generic name derives from the Greek "phragma" meaning thin reed.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance of Panama approved the issuance of a series of coins, both circulating and collector, in order to commemorate the
World Youth Day to be held in Panama in 2019. The circulation coins have with a face of 1 balboa and 20 the collection. Both have the same designs.
