2. WBCC Newsmail 250...by Martin Peeters, WBCC Focal Point

Next week May 26th, WBCC Newsmail 250 will be published. This means 250
weeks in a row news about Bi- and Tri-metallics, so almost 5 years !! I want
to make a special issue 250. Now I ask WBCC members, we have now 213 members
from 42 countries worldwide, and I'm sure we all have our stories about our
unique hobby. So I ask all 213 WBCC members: write YOUR story about
intersting hobby collecting Bi-metallics or Tri-metallics. One think I can
already write: The WBCC will announce in WBCC Newsmail 250 a BIG change:
What? Well, you just have to wait till week !

3. Bi-metallic pattern from Chile...by Francisco Jovel, Chile

If you look in the WBCC Homepage
http://www.geocities.com/RodeoDrive/7513/wbcc/wbcc.html you can find a
picture of a Bi-metallic 500 Peso pattern...if you look to the picture it is
the same obverse (Cardenal Raul Silva Henriquez)... The reverse has the
legend Casa de Moneda, the Santiago Mintmark (S°) and the date 1743 which is
the date that the Santiago Mint was established. It is quite rare for I have
only seen and heard of maybe 5 to 7 others. The last one I saw on a Chile
auction was up for sale for a minimum of 200 US$. (It was not sold at that
price)

4. Bi-metallic (future) 1 and 2 Euro 2002...by José Luis Ramírez, Spain

Reffering to WBCC Newsmail 245, item 3 about the Bi-metallic (future) 1 and
2 Euro 2002, I have news about the Spanish (Bi-metallic) Euros:
The Spanish central Bank will issue the next December 15, 2001 a set named
STARTER KIT. This set will be available in the spanish banks with a value of
2000 pesetas (12,02 Euros) and will have this coins:

1 cto, 4 coins (the spanish name for the eurocents will be centimo(s),
cto(s) is the short name)
2 ctos, 9 coins
5 ctos, 6 coins
10 ctos, 6 coins
20 ctos, 7 coins
50 ctos, 7 coins
The spanish name for the eurocents will be centimo(s), cto(s) is the short
name.
1 Euro, 2 Bi-metallic coins
2 Euro, 2 Bi-metallic coins

If you add the value of the all coins you will obtain 12 euros and 2 cent.
The spanish collectors will begin the (Bi-metallic) Euro collections 2 weeks
before the arrival of the new coin!

--Remark WBCC Focal Point: The following EU countries will also a Euro
Starters Kit with the Bi-metallic 1 and 2 Euro: Belgium, Germany, France,
Luxemburg, The Netherlands, Austria, and Spain. Finland, Ireland and Italy
have not decided yet, and Greece and Portugal will not have a Euro Starters
Kit.

5. Bi-metallic Euro medal from Italy...by Manuel González, Spain

This week I received the Bi-metallic 1 Euro from Milan "Variety L´Euro". So
the are now 3 pieces of the Milan Soccer Tean:

* Milan FC Champion. Shield. Variety: L´Euro
* Milan FC Champion. Shield and Devil.

animals, birds and a snake. The species of snake is a Naja Naja Oxiana. What
is the common name of the snake is shown on the 10 Rouble Russian
