daughter of a prominent lawyer and his wife's maid. Scandal forced her
father to flee Ireland with his lover and daughter in disgrace, but the
family found refuge in the Carolinas. There Cormac amassed a fortune and
bought a large plantation. When Anne was sixteen, a sailor named James
Bonny married Anne in an attempt to steal the plantation, but Anne's father
instead disowned her. Bonny then took Anne to New Providence in the Bahamas.
Anne Bonny then gained prominence in her husband’s earlier profession and is
featured on a pattern Tri-metallic coin of Cuba. You may see an image of
Anne on the WBCC website. What was Anne Bonny’s profession? Answer to Bi-metallic Quiz Game question #302. 8. posponed till August 1st 2002. This will be the last time it is possible to
receive TWOB by mail. After August 1st 2002 TWOB will be send only as an
attached Excel file by E-mail. The reason is that costs are getting higher
to send it by mail and most of the WBCC members receive TWOB already by
E-mail. "See you", next week, |
