September 3, I began travel via Bangkok to Australia and will be back home September 29th. Jack Hepler will compose WBCC Newsmail 317, 318, 319 and 320. Cliff Anderson in the US will send these WBCC Newsmail out to the WBCC and non-WBCC members.

3. WBCC Certificate of Membership ... by Martin Peeters, WBCC Focal Point

The Official WBCC "Certificate of Membership" is now available for WBCC members. The certificate is printed on white paper, 210 x 299 mm, and it will be laminated. It is available for each member for 5$ including postage cost. So if you are interested in your own WBCC membership certificate, please E-mail me: Martin Peeters.

4. Encased Thailand Bi-metallic ... by Rod Sell, Australia

Our latest page has been created to show the WBCC encased Thailand 10 Baht series. There have been 15 different Thailand 10 Baht bi-metallic coins issued over the years. We have now encased them all and images can be seen at: Encased Thailand.

For those of you who collect the Thailand 10 baht coins. They are listed in the order of issue with dates of issue in Buddist Era and Christian years. 14 of the coins are commemoratives. Enjoy.

Obverse: The central part of the coin shows a free interpretation of the national arms, with A. BIANCINI at left; around this, on the outer ring, the legend REPUBBLICA DI S. MARINO, and, below, a scroll containing the word LIBERTAS on branches of oak and laurel.
Reverse: The design in the central part of the coin represents the fight against hunger; at left, the abbreviation FAO, at right, the letter R. The outer ring contains the date 1982 at top, with the value L.500 at the bottom, with two ears of wheat at the sides. Edge: Reeded.
