1. Bi-metallic from Togo ... by Jose Luis Ramirez, Spain

If you take a look at: ebay auctio one can bid on a Bi-metallic from Togo. Value 6.000 CFA 2003. Togo is a new Bi-metallic country now.

--Remark WBCC Focal Point: Strange is that if you look at: ebay auction you can see the same picture but now the country is Burkina Faso.

2. Bi-metallic Euros from Denmark ... by Manuel González, Spain

If you take a look at: ebay auction you can bid on an Euro set (including a Bi-metallic1 and 2 Euro) from Denmark. According the seller the set is not legal tender is like the same as the UK Euro set. If you have more information about the set, please E-mail ebay auction you can see a picture of this Bi-metallic

4. Bi-metallics in Mini Euro Set ... by Martin Peeters, Netherlands

Received this week a message from the Royal Dutvh Mint, that the issued Dutch Mini Euro set (including the Mini Bi-metallic 1 and 2 Euro) are taken out of the market. Reason: The RDM is not sure if the issued set is legal.

5. Bi-metallic Counterfeit Euro Coins ??? ... by Paul Baker, UK

A new discussion thread entitled "Thousands of euro counterfeits found" appeared on the newsgroup rec.collecting.coins this week. Url's to two (foreign lauguage) new reports on this subject were referred to.... (report in German) and (report in Italian). I am fluent in neither of those langauges but it would seem that at least some of the counterfeit coins involved were counterfeit bi-metallic 1 Euro coins. I wonder if any of us will ever see any - they were apparently made in Italy.

This man wrote waltzes, polkas, quadrilles and other dance music, he wrote marches, and, for the stage, he composed 15 operettas, one opera and an unfinished ballet. He was born in 1825 and died in 1899, the coin celebrating 100 years of this very popular composer’s death. What is his name?
