3. Bi-metallic Adelaide Pound ... by Rod Sell, Australia

The Royal Australian Mint has announced that the 10,000 Adelaide Pound Bi-metallics have been sold out. These were first released at the end of September and 2 of the coins were produced by our members Martin Peeters and John Veltmeyer. If you have one it could have been produced by Martin or John. This is a large 50mm coin and if you want one i would suggest you get it soon before the price starts to rise.

4. Bi-metallic From Vaticane ... by Martin Peeters, Netherlands

This week I received my second Vatican 2002 Proof Euro set (including the 1 and 2 Euro 2002). To give the WBCC members give a change to obtain this set, I did put the set in the WBCC Auction 50. The set costs 78 Euro included postage costs, so that is the reserve price for the set. To avoid new potential WBCC members will be enter as WBCC member only to bid on the set, WBCC membership is close till December 15th.

5. Bi-metallic UK 2 Pound 1999 ... by C.J.Burton, UK

Hi, I thought the web site would like this scan of a British 2 pounds 1999 silver proof piedfort with hologram centre, which I certainly haven't seen before. As I only collect the base metal bimetallics I am offering this one for sale on ebay

6. Bi-metallics From Germany ... by Martin Blau, Germany

I have found in an auction catalog (Teutoburger Münzauktion Nr.11) on the page 534 two Bi-metallics from Germany. This pieces are copper-coins encased in an aluminium ring (Glückspfennige). The 1st is a 1 Pfennig 1935 mintmark A "Gemeindesparkasse Mutterstadt" (Item 9221). The 2nd is a 1 Pfennig 1935 mintmark F "Stadtsparkasse Pulsnitz" (Item 9222), diameter 33 mm. Unfortunately I don´t have more informations.

7. TWOB-42 Ready ... by Martin Peeters, Netherlands

TWOB-42 (The World Of Bi-metallics) catalog is ready for distribution. It wiil only be send electronic as an attached Excel-file. Send date is December 1st 2002. The catalog is updated with many new listed Bi- and Tri-metallics. Those WBCC members and non WBCC members who did receive the TWOB-41 will receive TWOB-42.
