This is the fith and last Pre-report of my attending to the World Money Fair * * in Basel next week. The following Mints will be present at the Basel show:

The Guest of Honors this year are The BENELUX States: Royal Belgian Mint, Royal Dutch Mint, Ministry of Finance of Luxembourg.
Pre WMF News:
* The Benelux states will issue a Benelux Euro set with the 3 country 2003 Euros, including the Bi-metallic 1 and 2 Euros 2003 of each state.
* Germany will issue a 2003 Euro set (including the Bi-metallic 1 and 2 Euro) special made for this event (World Money Fair). max 1000 sets.
* Switzerland will issue5 FR. 2003 coin. The 2003 5 FR. "Chalandamarz"
* Austria will issue the Bi-metallic 25 Euro, with Noblium metal in the centre. Price 37.50 Euro
* Belgium will issue a 2003 BU Euro set (including the Bi-metallic 1 and 2 Euro)

3. Bi-metallics 2003 from Vaticane ... by Martin Peeters, Netherlands

According the UFN (Ufficio Filatelico-Numismatico, in other words the bureau that issues the Vatican stamps and coins), Vaticane will issue like in 2002, in 2003 a BU and Proof Euro set in including the Bi-metallic 1 and 2 Euro 2003). Mintage and issue date unknown yet.
