2. Bi-metallic WBCC medal in Serge Pelletier, Netherlands

Something very interesting happened in my household this past week: my wife got a WBCC "World Coin Fair" 2000 medal in change in lieu of a 1 Eurocoin! She believes she got it in The Hague while shopping. Considering that only 300 pieces were struck someone might just be pulling is hair out for having lost such a rare piece! It is also poetic that it found its way back to an "Honorary Member" of the Club!

3. WBCC at the open day of the Dutch Martin Peeters

This week I received from the Royal Dutch Mint an invitation to represent the Worldwide Bi-metallic Collectors Club on June 14th 2003. Every year the RDM has a so called "Day Of The Mint". This day the Dutch coin collectors can visit the Dutch Mint at their building in Utrecht. One walk aroud the Dutch Mint building (not the strikingfloor) and see how it looks. Also there are a restrited amounf of Dutch coindealers for selling products. For the first time in history of the WBCC we are now invited to represent our selve to the Dutch Numismatic collectors with our own booth. WBCC members Frans Dubois and Jean Verleg will join me to promote the Worldwide Bi-metallic Collectors Club (WBCC)

4. Bi-metallics 2002 from Woldfang Schuster, Austria

The Bahrain Bi-metallics 100 and 500 fils dated 2002 now show 'kingdom of bahrain'. The previous issues had 'state of bahrain'

5. Rush to buy 2003 Vatican coins by Paul Baker, UK

I number of stories, images and even a video clip about scuffles in cues of people wanting to buy the 2003 sets of Vatican Euro coins can be found: HERE and, no doubt, a number of other news pages on the internet. Looks to be a new annual event on Rome's calendar.
