1. The WBCC at the Royal Dutch Mint..by Martin Peeters, WBCC Focal Point
Today, June 14th the Worldwide Bi-metallic Collectors Club will be present with their own booth at the Royal Dutch Mint. Every year the Royal Dutch Mint has a special day: "The Day Of the Mint" and all Dutch numismatics will visit the Mint at Utrecht. Together with WBCC members Frans Dubois, Jean Verleg and Eelco Soeteman, we will expose the WBCC to the Dutch public. Please notice that this is the first time the Royal Dutch Mint did invite us to come to the event. Next week I will have some pictures how the WBCC booth will look.
2. Bi-metallic from Georgia?...... by Michael Ayrapetov, USA
In begining of April 2003 (WBCC Newsmail 350, item 2) I had information from my friend, that on April 9 2003 Georgia will issue new Bi-metallic coin in commemoration of 12th Anniversary of the Georgian Independence. I sent message to National Bank of Georgia, but did not received the answer. I received message from WBCC member Wolfgang Schuster, that he have information from Tbilisi, the capital city of Georgia, that this coin was not issued. I think that it may be a Pattern coin or this coin was planned, but did not issued.
