2. WBCC Focal Point on Martin Peeters, WBCC Focal Point
Please notice that I will be on vacation from June 3 till June 18th. This means WBCC Newsmail 460, 461 and 462 will be composed by Jack Hepler in the US.
3. Bi-metallic 50 Korun 2004 issued Frans Dubois, Netherlands
In 1993 the first Bi-metallic 50 Korun Czech was issued for circulation. Since that year it was only issued in the BU-sets that were issued every year. But now, after 12 years, it was issued again seperate from the set and for circulation, dated 2004
4. Bi-metallic 1 and 2 Euro 2004 from Rob Kooy, Netherlands
As everybody knows Greece in 2004 has issued a special bimetallic 2€ (relating to the Olympic Games). So far, it was quite uncertain whether the normal 2€ 2004 with Zeus -the bull- and Europe) would appear too. By now it is certain that this normal 2€ 2004 will appear, in the 2004 BU-set at least. See picture. The number of sets was upgraded from 20.000 to 35.000 and another upgrade to 50.000 sets is possible.
5. Bi-metallic Fantasy Jose Luis Ramirez, Spain

Also you can see thi image is from Serbia, Surimane, Aruba and the Dutch Antilles.
6. Bi-metallic on a Jack Hepler, USA
There is an image of a stamp issued by San Marino featuring the Euro coinage including the Bi-metallics.  I'll be including an item about the coinage of San Marino on WBCC Newsmail 460.

7. The WBCC Bi-metallic Quiz Game Jack Hepler, USA
The Dominican Republic issued a Bi-metallic 5 Pesos in 1997. The national Coat of Arms is included in the design of this coin. The design shows a bible, a cross, 4 Dominican flags and  two spears. There are branches of two trees around the shield, and above on a ribbon is the motto "Dios, Patria, Libertad" meaning "God, Fatherland, Liberty". Below the shield is another ribbon bearing the name of the country "República Dominicana". One of the branches in the design is a palm. What kind of tree is the other branch?

Answer to Bi-metallic Quiz Game question #457:
Armenia issued its first circulation Bi-metallic coins in 2003. One of the features of this is the national crest or coat of arms. Which bird is shown on the 2003 Bi-metallic 500 Dram of Armenia?

The correct answer is "b"; Eagle.

8. WBCC Quiz Game Jack Hepler, USA
A Bi-metallic prize will be awarded to a member who correctly answers the WBCC Quiz Game this week. If more than one member gets the correct answer, a random drawing will be conducted to select a winner. There  were 8 players in game #456 and the winner was Claudio Revello (WBCC member #207).

You have only 2 weeks to list lots for Auction 73. This auction opens on the 4th June 2005 with the sending of newsmail 460 and closes one week later at 11PM 11th June 2005 Sydney time.
