From this week on, you will find every week in the beginning of the WBCC Newsmail a picture of the different 2 Euro pieces.
 
2. Meeting a WBCC member......by Martin Peeters, Netherlands
Last thursday I met WBCC member Cliff Anderson from the US. At WBCC member Home Frans Dubois we met. Together with Frans and his wife we had a cosy dinner in the Dutch city Gouda. Very enjoiable to meet WBCC members !!
 
3. Bi-metallic from Croatia........by Zdravko Bosnjak, Croatia
The new Bi-metallic 25 kuna 2005 coin from Croatia will be issued next month (August). No details and picture yet
Croatia expected to begin negotiations in EU this spring, but because of problems with that, instead 'Croatia EU Membership Negotiations' they change subject.

4. Bi-metallic 2005 Euros from Portugal.....by Rui Paulo, Portugal
Imprensa Nacional-Casa da Moeda presents a collection of euro coins issued in Portugal in 2005 with special “Fleur-de-Coin” (FDC), brilliant uncirculated (BU) and proof finish. The coins are adequately packaged and duly certified with mintage limits. The annual series of euro coins for circulation struck at INCM are objects of preference of national and international numismatists and collectors. Look at:  http://www.incm.pt/
 
5. Bi-metallic medal from China.....by Fabio Guerrieri, Italy
A new Bi-metallic medal from  China has been issued. The medal " Qi Six Characters Knife " is one piece in the Medallion of the Currency Treasures of China. This is the second medal issue  of the series of 15 pieces .
 
6. The WBCC Bi-metallic Quiz Game #466...by Jack Hepler, USA
Russia issued five very pretty Bi-metallic coins in 1994 that featured animals and birds.  One of the birds featured on this series of coins was a Flamingo.  What was the other bird?
a. Falcon.
b. Condor.
c. Dove.
d. Kazarka.

7. WBCC Quiz Game Prize...by Jack Hepler, USA
A Bi-metallic prize will be awarded to a member who correctly answers the WBCC Quiz Game this week. If more than one member gets the correct answer, A random drawing will be conducted to select a winner. There were eight players in game #464 and the winner was Cristhian Lopez.
