KP Books has recently released the long-awaited fourth edition of Unusual World Coins.
This book is the classic guide to those mysterious coin issues from the realms of Fantasy, the borders of Micro-Nations, the halls of Exiled Royalty, the shady backrooms of imitators, the creative minds of numismatic promoters and the shores of islands as yet undiscovered.
This new edition lists more than 9,000 varieties of numismatically unusual items. Each entry contains as much detailed information as possible, plus accurate up-to-date value. Thousands of images round out the package, making Unusual World Coins not only an indispensable reference to the untraditional, but also one of the most exciting books you may ever add to your numismatic library.
The book comes from the KP Book numismatic staff, with Colin R. Bruce II, Tom Michael and George Cuhaj, editors.
The 8-1/2 x 11 book is perfect bound, softcover and 515 pages, in addition to 32 pages of introductory charts, indexes and helpful information. The book retails for $39.99 ($59.99 CAN), plus $4 shipping and handling.
