ANA  this year.  I am having major surgery in July that will prevent me from

1. Future 2 editions of WBCC Newsmail...by Jack Hepler, USA
On June 12th Martin left for travel to China for 3 weeks. This means WBCC
Newsmail 515 and 516 will be composed and issued by Jack Hepler in
the USA. So if you have intesting news about Bi- and Tri-metallics send

2. Encased German Lucky Piece...by Tom Passon, The Netherlands
Germany, Teutoburger Münzauktion u. Handel GmbH, Volker Wolframm,
Postfach 1257, D-33829 Borgholzhausen, Deutschland. Auktion 29/30, 7
& 8 June 2006, lot 4826. Lucky-Coin issued by the Stadtsparkasse
Königsberg containing 1 Reichspfennig 1925 J, 33 mm, VF, starting
price 30 Euro.

3. WBCC 10th anniversary Commemorative Encasement...by Jack Hepler, USA
The Official Worldwide Bi-metallic Collectors Club will be produced and
minted by the Penny Press Mint. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is featured on the coin
selected to be encased. Only 100 of these encased coins will be produced and
released on 14 September 2006. Orders are still being accepted.  Please

4. Bi-metallic Token on eBay...by Michael Ayrapetov, USA
I found on eBay bimetallic Car Wash token of Inncbruck, Austria. Item
number: 8426620866.

5. New bimetallic medal from Korea...by Frans Dubois, The Netherlands
In the BU set from Korea I found a nice bimetallic medal.
The coinset is from 2002 and includes all denominations for that year.
On the medal is an image of some ducks.

6. Bi-metallic 100 Pesos from Mexico...by Jack Hepler, USA
Tlaxcala, Mexico 2003 Series I Coat of Arms.
The arms consist on a "French style" green-bordered red shield. It bears
a  yellow castle resembling Castile (Spain) whose flag over the main tower
shows the Austrian arms.
Over the border, at the top corners there are two golden initials "I" and
"F" for the Catholic Kings of Spain, Isabel (Elizabeth) and Fernando
(Ferdinand) respectively; between them the letter "K", also golden, for Karolus
(Charles I of Spain and V of Germany) who granted to Tlaxcala such arms; in both
side two leaves, and in the bottom two skulls and two crossed bones.

7. The WBCC Bi-metallic Quiz Game #514...by Jack Hepler, USA
The first Chinese Bi-metallic coin listed in The World Of Bi-metallics
(TWOB) is a 10 Yuan dated 1992, catalog number; Y 391.  It is composed of a
silver ring with a center of gold.  Which animal is featured on this beautiful coin?
a. Lesser Panda.
b. Giant Panda.
c. Red Panda.
d. Lion.

Answer to Bi-metallic Quiz Game question #513
The Great King of PALENQUE is known as Pacal Votan, Pacal the Great,
"Shield", or Pakal (originally spelled Pacal, then Hanab-Pakal and now
K'inich Janahb' Pakal). The head of Pakal, King of Palenque,
is featured on the Bi-metallic 100 Pesos Series II for the State of
Chiapas.  Which is Pakal?

8. WBCC Quiz Game Prize...by Jack Hepler, USA
A Bi-metallic prize will be awarded to a member who correctly answers the
WBCC Quiz Game this week.
If more than one member gets the correct answer, a random drawing will be
conducted to select a winner. There were seven players in game #512 and the winner was Bob
Vanoost, WBCC member #341.
