We have a new WBCC members. Let me introduce him to you:
Name:Darek Matyja (WBCC member #420), Poland
Age: 44
Profession: seaman (Electrician on ships)
Hobby: World coins especially Bi- and Tri-metallics 
Goal: I collect all Bi- and Tri-metallics coin from all countries. I have a few medals and fantasy coins, but this is only tittle-tattle for me.
How did I know about the WBCC: I found in the Internet ( I looked for world  "bimetallic").
 
2. The WBCC at the WMF Berlin (part 2)...by Martin Peeters, WBCC Focal Point
World Money Fair Berlin is The world's biggest numismatic fair
From February 2nd to 4th, the 36th edition of the World Money Fair will take place. After having moved from Basel to Berlin in February 2006, once a year the whole world of numismatics meets at the Estrel Convention Center - international mints, top-class vendors from Germany and all over Europe and naturally, the huge community of coin collectors. The World Money Fair is the place where international numismatic novelties are presented for the first time in front of an expert audience. Moreover, the World Money Fair is considered to be the coin trading place with the best sales worldwide.

Mint of Kazakhstan - Guest of honour of the World Money Fair 2007

Kazakhstan, situated in the centre of Eurasia, is the ninth-largest country in the world covering an area of 2.7 million square kilometres. Thanks to abundant natural resources it is one of the most important producers of natural gas and petroleum worldwide. The Republic of Kazakhstan declared its independence from the Soviet Union on December 16th, 1991 under the presidency of Nursultan Nazarbayev. It is an ethnically mixed and multicultural state with over 50 nationalities living together peacefully. Kazakhstan's currency is the Tenge. The circulation coins issued in 1997 bear the values of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and (Bi-metallic) 100 Tenge and are manufactured exclusively by the Kazakhstan Mint.

The Kenyan Coat of Arms appears on the Bi-metallic coins of Kenya. The CoA consists of a shield and spears used by the Masai tribe. What kind of bird is in the center of the shield?

10. WBCC Quiz Game Prize.........by Jack Hepler, USA
A Bi-metallic prize will be awarded to a member who correctly answers the WBCC Quiz Game this week. If more than one member gets the correct answer, a random drawing will be conducted to select a winner. There were 14 players in game #543 and the winner was Oded Paz, WBCC member #305.
