Welcome into the World of Bi, Tri and Quad-metallics. I hope you enjoy reading

1. Message from your WBCC Focal Point, Martin Peeters, Netherlands
This weekend, on Sunday, I change my provider and my new E-mail address
will changed then to wbcc@home.nl
All the messages to wbcc@kabelfoon.nl will be forwarded for 1 year to my
new E-mail adress.

2. Bi-metallic 50 Centavos, Argentina...by Frans Dubois, Netherlands,

Rumors have been circulated that a new, Bi-metallic Argentine 50 Centavos
will be issued this year.

3. Bi-metallic 2 Euro, Treaty of Rome...by Frans Dubois, Netherlands,
WBCC DoCu-Centre

It has been reported that the long awaited "Treaty of Rome" 2 Euro
Commemoratives will be released this week. 
Release is expected by all 13 Euro producing countries.

4. The WBCC Bi-metallic Quiz Game #554...by Jack Hepler, USA
The 1993 (AH 1424) Bi-metallic 100 Dinars of Algeria is a beautiful coin.
How many times is the image of a horse’s head incorporated into the
design?
a.  Two.
b.  Three.
c.  Four.

Answer to Bi-metallic Quiz Game question #553
The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) is a regional
group of countries, founded on May 28, 1975.  Bi-metallic coins of the West
African States have agricultural produces incorporated into the design.  Which of the
following may be found on the Bi-metallic 500 Francs (FCFA) of the West African States?
a.  Apples.
b.  Bananas.
c.  Cacao.
d.  Olives.
The correct answer for question #553 is c; Cacao.

5. WBCC Quiz Game Prize...by Jack Hepler, USA
A Bi-metallic prize will be awarded to a member who correctly answers the WBCC Quiz Game this week.  If more than one member gets the correct answer, a random drawing will be conducted to select a winner.  There were 14 players in game #552 and the winner was Andrzj Kasprzycki, WBCC member #424.

Note:   Ray Lockwood is the WBCC Focal Point for ANA Conventions: sunrayofmarion@aol.com  Ray is planning to be at the convention and may be found at booths 2&3.
Note 2:  Norm Bowers, WBCC Member #42 will also be at the convention.
Norm will have a table (#1810) displaying many Bi-metallic coins and will have a
large stock of Bi-metallics for sale.
