3. Bi-metallic off centre from Germany...by Frans Woons, Canada
This week I received an off-centre Bi-metallic coin of Germany I had bought on eBay: € 1 2000 F.  This coin was struck partially outside the collar as is evident by the reeding, that is greatly missing, and other indicators.

5. Bi-metallic IDX token.....by Cliff Anderson, USA
This Bi-metallic token was manufactured by IDX, Inc., of El Dorado, Arkansas. In its website at www. idxinc.com, IDX states that it began in 1987 by making car wash equipment, including tokens and token "acceptors". But since then, it has branched out to make casino gaming devices and slot machine technology. Thus, this bi-metallic appears to be an advertising piece.

7. Bi-metallic Quiz Game #604...by Jack Hepler, USA
An interesting series of Tri-metallic coins were produced between 1998 and 2001 by the Romanian mint and attributed to The Republic of Somalia. Among the topics in the series were animals, birds, famous ships and famous people. The reverse of each of these 250 Shilling coins is the same and shows the Coat of Arms of Somalia. Which animal is shown on the Somali Coat of Arms?

A Bi-metallic prize will be awarded for the correct answer. If more than one member gets the correct answer, a random drawing will be conducted to select a winner. There were 13 players in game #602 and the winner was Meir Sapir WBCC member #296.
