9. The Super Quiz Question..... by Jack Hepler, USA
The SUPER Bi-metallic QQ, which stands for Super Bi-metallic Quiz Question, is the brainchild of Hans Bucek. It has been suggested at various times, in various places but the concept came together following the 2009 Berlin World Money Fair. The idea is to create questions that require some study, research, knowledge or closer examination of a Bi-metallic coin. These are planned to be challenging questions and will only be created once each month for inclusion in the WBCC Newsmails for that month.
Correct answers will be given greater credit (three points versus one point for the weekly question) and added to the tally each month. For example; Player Joe correctly answers each of the weekly questions for the month and also correctly answers the SUPER Bi-metallic QQ. Thus he gets four (or five) points plus three for a total of seven (or eight). If Player Joe only answers the weekly questions he gets four points while Player Bill, who only played the SUPER QQ gets three points. So Joe wins the special award. But if Bill answered one of the weekly questions plus the SUPER QQ (four points total), he gets the special award because he took on the more challenging question. The special award will be a Certificate from the WBCC Focal Point, awarded only to the monthly winner. A second award will warrant anadditional prize.

The question for March 2009 is:
Super QQ #001. In 1994, Argentina introduced a Bi-metallic One Peso coin for general circulation. In 1995, these pesos were minted in three other countries for use in Argentina. One of these mints produced large quantities of coins with an error, and these coins were put into circulation along with the correct coins. What was the error and which country produced these coins?  (Die rotation is not considered an error for the purpose of this question)
