This is a Legal Tender Special Lunar
Commemorative 2009 isssue by the Government of the Peoples Republic of
China.
Minted in a high quality Proof
condition, this coin contains 1 Troy Ounce of .999 Fine Gold (31.1033
grams) surrounded by a .999 fine Silver ring making the total weight of
this coin 57.97 grams. The legal tender denomination is 500 Yuan with a
diameter of 50 mm. This coin was minted as a special commemorative
issue for the Lunar Year of the Ox in 2009. The obverse side shows two
Panda cubs and the Temple of Heaven on the reverse side.
