Dear WBCC members and non WBCC members,
Welcome into the World Of Bi-, Tri- and Tetra-metallics. I hope you enjoy reading this week's issue of the WBCC Newsmail.

1. Bi-metallic 25 Kuna 2010 from Antonio Barrena Mateo, Spain
New Bi-metallic 25 Kuna 2010 from Croatia. Commemorate "EBRD Annual Meeting and Business Forum"
2. Bi-metallic 10 Franken 2011 from Hans Busek, Switzerland

The planned issue commemorates the “Zibelemaerit” of Bern. (The onion market). This is a very popular public festival, a bit of a funfair which takes place every fourth Monday in November. If this is the first issue of a new series, I could not find out but it is obvious because the alpine animal series ended after 3 issues. There were also 3 issues only of the Swiss mountains as you know. See

3. Bi-metallic 2010 from Jose Luis Ramirez, Spain
Saw in Ebay: New unofficial coins from Cabinda (Angola) dated 2010

4. Bi-metallic MTT from Jacek Stącel, Poland

Another series of MTT Bi-metallic from the City Warszawa.

5. Bi-metallic Trade Token from the Chuck Hays, USA (

We currently have a Bi-metallic Trudeau Bros Good for token.

Does any WBCC member know how I can find a current market value, please E-mail me at:

--Remark WBCC Cliff Anderson, WBCC Public Relations :

The only relevant catalog including this Trudeau piece is David Schenkman's "Bimetallic Trade Tokens of the United States". Page 131 describes this piece as being from Oconto, WI. It was patented in July 1899. It was given a value as being between $10 to $15. But its current value could be twice or 3 times that amount. It might be worth searching eBay or other auction sites.

This week continues the quiz series called, "Whose Face".

7. WBCC Super Quiz Jack Hepler, USA

The March Super Quiz was about Switzerland's three beautiful Bi-metallic 10 Francs coins that featured three of the highest mountains in the Alps. The mountains so honored were the Matterhorn Cervin, Jungfrau, and Piz Bernina. The May question is about the location. Which mountain is the most easterly and which is the most westerly of the three mountains?
