One of the set is from German Unity and the other one is from the lander of Nordrhein Westfalen.

Answer to Bi-metallic Quiz Game question #735.

Whose face appears on the NON-States commemorative 2006 Bi-metallic 100 Pesos coin of Mexico? This question is NOT about one of the special states issues.


The correct answer to Bi-metallic Quiz Game question #735 is Benito Juarez Garcia.

Correction: I reported President Kibaki as the first President of Kenya. He was actually the third President.


WBCC Quiz Game Prize

A Bi-metallic prize will be awarded for the correct answer. If more than
one member gets the correct answer, a random drawing will be conducted to
select a winner. The Quiz Game #734 prize winner was Meir Sapir WBCC member #296. There were eight players.

8. Answer to WBCC Super Quiz #18...by Jack Hepler, USA
A very important historical event for one country was honored by another country on a Bi-metallic coin.  This event took place over 200 years ago near geographical coordinates 6 degrees, 30 minutes West, 36 degrees, 30 minutes North.  Name the coin, country that issued the coin and event.


The coin is 2 Pounds 2008.

Gibraltar issued the coin.

The event was the Battle of Trafalgar.

10. Basel Coin fair….by Hans Bucek, Switzerland
Tthe date of the Basel Coin Fair has been shifted to Basler Münzenmesse 5. to 6. February 2011. Kongresszentrum Messe Baselwhich is (for the first time) after the Berlin coin show!
