Bi-metallic 5 Pesos from Mexico, This is the last of the series, José María Pino Suárez (1869-1913)
At the outbreak of armed revolution, Pino Suarez was in the United States, but the signing of treaties of Ciudad Juárez that marked the overthrow of Porfirio Diaz, Pino Suarez returned to Mexico.
In the elections called by Leon de la Barra, won the formula consisting of President Madero and Pino Suarez to vice president. In 1913, he gave the Ten Tragic and the betrayal of Victoriano Huerta, allied to the rebels, deposed and assassinated Madero and Pino Suárez in March of that year. Thus, Madero and Pino Suárez represent the struggle for democracy in Mexico. Politician, journalist and writer. In the Peninsular unveiled their altruistic and humanitarian ideas. In June 1910, he met Francis I. Madero, and became head of the anti-reelection in the Southeast. He was nominated candidate for governor of Yucatan, but Diaz issued an arrest warrant against him, so Pino Suárez escaped. In April 1910, when he settled in Mexico City Independent National Convention of the National Anti parties and Democratic National Pino was named president of the convention, which ran for president of Mexico Madero and Pino Suárez himself to judge Supreme Court of Justice. Madero Pino accompanied in his presidential tour and returned to the South to continue fighting for the revolutionary cause.
