1. WBCC at the Open Day of the Royal Dutch Mint….by WBCC Focal Point
Today, Saturday 18th, the Royal Dutch Mint will held as every year the Open Day.
The WBCC will be present with it’ s own booth.
You can meet Frans Dubois and Martin Peeters if you want to talk about Bi-metallics. 

The Open Day of the Royal Dutch Mint is held in the city Utrecht in the building of the Dutch Mint.

5. Bi-metallic 5 Dollar from Canada….by Vadim Naumov, Russia

Here are images of Bi-metallic coins of Canada... First coin 5 dollar with the deer "Buck Moon" will issue by Royal Canadian Mint on June, 16 2011... Other coins in August and second part of year...
This is 4 coins from series "Full Moon" in sterling silver and niobium in the core on one side.
Mintage - 7 500 pieces (each coin).
Date of issue - June, 16 2011
Face value - 5 dollars
Coin weight: 8.50 gr
Diameter: 28.00 mm
Edge: interrupted serrations
Metals composition (alloys):
сentre - niobium (inner core, reverse) and 92.5% silver, 7.5% copper,
the ring - silver (Ag / 925)

6. Bi-metallic Medal from the USA…… James Ballard, USA

Here is a Bi-metallic madel, 7th Coal Miners & Operators Conference
The image is from ebay. No details are give in the auction. I found the following information with a google search that indicates the medal dates to 1904:
Inter-State Convention 1904: Seventh Annual Joint Conference Coal Miners and Operators of Western Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Indiana and Illinois: Indianapolis, Indiana, January 28th to February 3rd, February 29th to March 5th, and March 21st, 1904

7. Bi-metallic Quiz Game #775…by Jack Hepler, USA
In 1861, he founded a newspaper, El diario del hogar, in which he freely expressed his opinions and feelings. His writing kept him at odds with the power structure and he was imprisoned for his position. He died in 1911, believed to be from illness acquired during his time in prison. His image may be seen on a Bi-metallic 5 Pesos dated 2009. Name this Mexican patriot.

Answer to Bi-metallic Quiz Game question #774
Some call him "Benemérito de la Patria". There is a well-known city named for him. He was a priest and a revolutionary in the War for Independence from Spain. His military prowess was recognized by the revolution leaders and he attained the rank of Lieutenant General. He was captured by Spanish forces and executed 4 February 1814. His image may be seen on a Bi-metallic 5 Pesos dated 2008. Name this Mexican patriot.
