2. Bi-metallic Error 10 Pesos 1995…by Frans Woons, Canada
Here a picture of a Mexico Bi-metallic 10 New Pesos 1995 coin.
This coin was struck without the plug resulting in some parts of the image, which should have been on the plug, struck on the ring While the ring was struck, the hole shrunk from about 18.5 mm to about 16 mm\
This is a ring that was struck without a core. It is manifested by:
The diameter of the hole in the ring is no longer 18 mm but 16 mm, and
Parts of the images that belong on the core are now on the ring.
If one takes a perfect 10 New Pesos coin and punches out the core:
The diameter in the ring will remain 18 mm, and
No parts of the images that belong on the core will be visible on the ring.

3. Bi-metallic Error 2 Dollar from Canada...by Frans Woons, Canada
Here some images of a Canadian toony struck without the ring. (The core only, in other words).
Part of the images that belong on the ring are now on the core. The core cracked due to the high pressure of the dies. Part of this error coin shows the serrations normally found on the ring and created by the collar.
Unfortunately, this error is not in my collection
For other images of rings struck alone, see http://www.bencoins.com/bimetallics/ , the WBCC Error Image Library by Benjamin Muniz

Answer to Bi-metallic Quiz Game question #779
A main street in Mexico City is named after this writer who was a native of the state of Tabasco. He started the publication, El Peninsular but was forced to shut it down because it was too critical of the government. However, his views coincided with those of Francisco Madero who soon rose to political power with commitment to decency and honor. As Vice President under Madero, opposing forces coerced them into resigning. As he was preparing to go into exile in 1913, he was assassinated. His legacy is reflected in the image on a 2010 Bi-metallic 5 Pesos. What is this patriot’s name?
The answer to this question is Jose Maria Pino Suarez.
