Bi-metallic Italy 1 and 2 Euro 2002.by Massimomiliano Aiello, Italy The Italians have chosen the imagines to put on the future Euro coins that will start to circulate from Year 2002. Particularly for the Bi-metallics, these are the images chosen: on the "1 Euro" coin there will be the famous design by Leonardo Da Vinci "Uomo Vitruviano", whereas on the "2 Euro" coin it will appear the portrait of "Dante Alighieri" by Raffaello Sanzio. A really good choice! cIf you desire to admire these masterpieces, you can find them at: http://www.tesoro.it , or look into the WBCC Homepage: http://www.geocities.com/RodeoDrive/7513/wbcc/wbcc.html 3. Gorgoeus and Chats..........Marion Slaten, USA Wanted to let all WBCC members know that the new Canadian $15 Year of the Tiger Silver/Gold Proof Bi-metallic is gorgoeus !! Absolutely love it. Nice quality as usual from the Royal Canadian Mint. I think I'm getting some non-collectors interested in Bi-metallics as I've been showing my proof $15 all over town ;-) For any members who are thinking of ordering but sitting on the fence, you need to order quickly. When I called a couple of weeks ago, the issue had only been on sale for 2 weeks and they had already sold over 40,000 proofs - that's almost 2/3 of the total mintage! Also, any members that are java-enabled and can use the chat room at http://www.geocities.com/RodeoDrive/7503/chat.html please email me ( slaten@pixi.com ) as I'd love to chat with you and maybe swap some coins and coin stories. If you have ICQ, my number is 5582318. Add me to your contact list. ICQ is a great program to send messages or chat. I've gotten to chat with a few of you and I'd like to be in closer contact with the members. 7.
