1. WBCC 15th Anniversary Token…by Jack Hepler, WBCC Development Centre
The Worldwide Bi-metallic Collector Club became 15 years old on 14-9-2011.  To honor this event, the Penny Press Mint in conjunction with the WBCC produced a ringed Bi-metallic token.  Actually the token is a Tri-metallic using a Penny Press Mint exclusive production process that has a brass core on one side and a copper core on the other side.  These tokens are available for purchase.  The cost is Three Euro plus postage or for US members, Four Dollars plus postage.  If PayPal is used to pay for these pieces, please add 20 percent.  Requests for this token may be made to Jack Hepler via E-mail:: 

2. Medallion Issued to Commemorate 9-11…by Jack Hepler, WBCC Development Centre
The Penny Press Mint produced a medallion to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the infamous 9-11 attack on America.  Members wishing to obtain one of these medallions should contact the Penny Press Mint at  Members may also request these medals from Jack Hepler via eMail: 

3. Annual VNA Conference and Show…by Jack Hepler, USA
Long time supporter of the WBCC, Beth Deisher, Editor of CoinWorld Magazine, was presented with the Bi-metallic 15th Year Anniversary medal at the Virginia Numismatic Association Banquet on 24 September 2011.
Ms. Deisher was guest speaker at the Association Banquet and spoke on recent court rulings and potential impact on numismatics.  This picture shows Ms. Deisher receiving both the 15th Anniversary medal and the Commemorative medal for the tenth anniversary of the 11 September 2001 attack on the USA.

--Remark Cliff Anderson WBCC Public Relations: Yes, there is a whole set of these medals, one for each of the 15 EU countries as of around 2005(?).  There was also an extra alternate design for Germany. Many of them are pictured in the October to December 2007 WBCC image library.

The price is falling rapidly before general circulation coins are released at face value.

The Crozet Islands (French: Îles Crozet; or, officially, Archipel Crozet) are a sub-antarctic archipelago of small islands in the southern Indian Ocean. They form one of the five administrative districts of the French Southern and Antarctic Lands.

The Kerguelen Islands ( /ˈkɜrɡəlɛn/ or /ˈkɜrɡələn/ in French commonly Îles Kerguelen or Archipel de Kerguelen but officially Archipel des Kerguelen or Archipel Kerguelen, pronounced: [kɛʁɡeˈlɛn]), also known as the Desolation Islands, are a group of islands in the southern Indian Ocean constituting the emerged part of the otherwise submerged Kerguelen Plateau. The islands are a territory of France. There are no indigenous inhabitants, but France maintains a permanent presence of 50 to 100 scientists, engineers and researchers.

14. Super Quiz #75…………by Jack Hepler, USA
Jersey issued a Bi-metallic Two Pounds coin in 1996 that shows the Coat of Arms of the 12 Parishes. The word “Saint” is not included in the name of two of the Parishes. Give the names of these two Parishes and state the location of the CoA's using the clock position. The 1 O’clock position will be the first location clockwise from the top of the coin.
