2. Bi-metallic 100 Pesos from Mexico… Jose Lopez, Spain
I would like to share with you some information I have found over a bimetallic coin from Mexico 2005.
I used to have this coin in my collection:
Then I found a similar coin, but with the particularity, that there is a point inside each closed letter, such as "O, D, Q, etc." , you may see it in the word Don Quijote for example, the image is as follows:
It has the same reverse, but as I said there are points, inside those letters, such as O, Q, D, etc- I talked with a friend, which is also a coin collector in Mexico, and he told me that, in his opinion the second one is a variety, that was issued on 2006, though it keeps the previous date. I can not confirm it, but as I saw it was not refleted in the last TOW (there is only a 133 entry for this coin), I would like to share it with the WBCC, just in case it is adequate to let konw all the bimetallic coin collectors about it. Thank you.
