2. WBCC at the “Open Day” of the Royal Dutch Mint…by Frans Dubois, WBCC Docu Centre
As every year, the Royal Dutch Mint will have the “ Open Day” at the Dutch Mint in Utrecht on June 16th.
On this day the Dutch 'circulation' coins will be issued.
Like past years the Bi-metallic 1 and 2 Euro 2012 will not come in circulation and only be available in the rolls in the mint-boxes.
In the past years there was always a "Guest of honour" and there will be this year too. Till now it's not known which National Mint will be present..... The WBCC has his own table and you can visit our booth. We will keep you informed in the next WBCC Newsmail!

The Satakunta coin depicts an industry of Finland dating back to the Middle Ages.  This industry is still alive and well in Satakunta, especially during a celebration week in summer.  What is this industry?

Answer to Bi-metallic Quiz Game question #824.

The reverse side of the Uusimaa 2011, Bi-metallic 5 Euro provincial coin depicts the coat of arms of the Uusimaa historical province.
What is depicted on the obverse?
The industrious spirit or industry of Finland is portrayed on this coin.

WBCC Quiz Game Prize
A Bi-metallic prize will be awarded for the correct answer.
If more than one member gets the correct answer, a random drawing will be conducted to select a winner.
