The Bi-metallic 2 Euro 2012 from Portugal is out

2 .Bi-metallic 2 Dollar 2012 from Canada…..by Frans Woons, Canada
The latest 2012 Bi-metallic toony: a proof coin in base metals.
The ring is nickel and the core is brass. These metals have never been used before for a toony. And a proof toony in base metals was used only once before (in 1996; the first year of the toonies). This coin weighs 9 g and has a diameter of 28 mm. The coin is part of a proof set. Mintage: 40,000. Notice that this coin is in the ‘old style’ (no security features). The old-style will be phased out.

Marie Byrd land set has four Bi-metallic coins
25 cents, 50 cents, 1 Dollar and 5 Dollars are Bi-metallic

5. Bi-metallic 2 Dollar 2012 from Canada…by Frans Dubois, The Netherlands
The images on the new Turkish Bi-metallic coins of 1 lira are Anatolien Leopard and Red Deer.

A Bi-metallic circulation issue 2 Euro commemorative coin of Finland was issued in 2004.  Featured in the design of the coin was a stylized flower.  How many pedals appear in the design of this flower? Answer to Bi-metallic Quiz Game question #828.

A Bi-metallic circulation issue 2 Euro commemorative coin of Finland was issued in 2008.  What was commemorated?

A Bi-metallic prize will be awarded for the correct answer. If more than one member gets the correct answer, a random drawing will be conducted to select a winner.
