Next year's Bi-metallic 2 Euro 2013 commemorative coin from Portugal will be dedicated to the 250 years since the Clerigos Tower was built. This tower was the tallest structure in Portugal when completed in 1763 and as the main feature of the city's skyline, ships used it as a guide when coming into Cais da Ribeira. It's a remarkable baroque landmark designed by the Italian architect Nasoni, who also designed the adjoining church. It has become a popular tourist attraction for the aerial view of the city from the top

Answer to Bi-metallic Quiz Game question #830

The Bi-metallic, standard circulation issue 1 Euro coin of Finland features the image of an Anatidae Cygnus.  What is another name for the Anatidae Cygnus?

The answer to Quiz Question #830 is Swan.  This is the answer asked for but there are several kinds of swans; Trumpeter, Black, Mute, Blacknecked, Whooping, and Tundra.  It is unclear to me which is shown on the coin.

The Quiz Game #829 prize winner is James Ballard, WBCC member #523.
