1. Bi-metallic 2 Euro 2012 from Great Britain…..by Pabitra Saha, UK
Great Britain - Mary Rose 2 £ Bi-metallic comes out in circulation with mintage of a mil. The coin, which was announced in Nov 2010 and proof and bullion sets released in Feb 2011, has finally been released for circulation.

3. Bi-metallic 500 Tenge 2012 from Kazakhstan….by Vadim Naumov, Russia
This is the image of new Kazakhstan Bi-metallic coin – Baikonur. Center - tantal and ring - silver

4. Bi-metallic 500 Pesos 2012………….by Max Aiello, Italy
Here a picture of the two Bi-metallic 500 Pesos 2012 coins issued in Colombia, the old type (Guacari Tree) and the new one (Rana de Cristal).

5. Tri-metallics from The Canning Mint……by Rod Sell, Australia
Bruce Canning of the Canning Mint recently made a trimetallic medal for the lady who runs a local Tai Chi class.
I persuaded him to produce a set for me in all the metal combinations.
Though the Tai Chi class only had the variety with the aluminium backing.

Finland issued a commemorative 2 Euro coin in 2010 which featured a Lion rampant in the design.  What event or historical occasion was being commemorated?

In 2007, the nations of the Eurozone commemorated the 50 Year Anniversary of the Treaty of Rome with a Bi-metallic 2 Euro design that was common except for details that were unique to each country.  One feature of this design was the word, “Europe” but each country used its own language for spelling of the word.  How was Europe spelled on the Finnish version of this commemorative?
