4. Bi-metallic 2 Euro 2013 from Belgium/The Netherlands…..by Pabitra Saha, UK
Belgium first to announce Two 2 Euro commem coins for 2013
They will be Centenaries of "Tour of Flanders" cycle race and establishment " Royal Meteorological Institute"

"Tot nu toe mochten eurolanden per jaar één speciale 2 euro slaan, naast een eventuele gemeenschappelijke uitgifte. Door een aanpassing in de Europese wetgeving mogen dit er met ingang van 2013 twee worden. 

Duitsland en Frankrijk zijn de eerste landen die gebruik maken van de nieuwe mogelijkheid. Naast een eigen speciale 2 euro komen beide landen met een gemeenschappelijke uitgifte ter ere van het Élysée-verdrag. 

Daarnaast komt ook België volgend jaar met twee 2 euro herdenkingsmunten. De thema’s zijn het Koninklijk Meteorologisch Instituut en - onder voorbehoud - de wielerwedstrijd Ronde van Vlaanderen. Beide vieren in 2013 hun 100-jarig bestaan.

Welke 2 euromunt in Nederland in 2013 uitkomt is op dit moment nog niet bekend. In onze webwinkel vindt u een groot aanbod van speciale 2 euro’s."

"Until now, euro countries per year 2 Euro store, in addition to any common issue. An adjustment in European legislation, this is from 2013 two are.

6. Bi-metallic Token on Ebay……..by Pauk Baker, UK
A Bi-metallic token offered on Ebay this week is one I do not remember ever seeing before. It is here.

It is a ringed bi-metallic the only legend being "PLAYER" four times around the nickel-brass ring. There is a odd design based upon five circles of different sizes on the core of copper-nickel. The seller details the tokens as having the same design on both sides. The metallic composition is not confirmed. I would guess that this is a machine token.
