Bi-metallic 2 Euro 2013 from San Marino……..by Max Aiello, Italy The AASFN has communicated that the next Bi-metallic 2 Euro 2013 commemorative coin will be dedicated to the 50th Anniversary of the Death of John Fitzgerald Kennedy, 35th US President killed in Dallas on November 22nd, 1963 2. Bi-metallic 2 euro 2013 from Italy.....….by Jacek Stacel, Poland Italy will issue a Bi-metallic 2 Euro 2013 commemorative coin dedicated to the "700 years since the birth of Giovanni Boccaccio" Giovanni Boccaccio (1313 – 21 December 1375) was an Italian author and poet, a friend, student, and correspondent of Petrarch, an important Renaissance humanist and the author of a number of notable works including the Decameron, On Famous Women, and his poetry in the Italian vernacular. Boccaccio is particularly notable for his dialogue. 3. Bi-metallic 100 centavos 2012 from Timor-Leste….by Joaquim Sabino, Portugal As you probably know the portuguese mint issued a Bi-metallic coin from Timor-Leste. Denomination 100 centavos, dated 2011. It comes in an illustrated wallet that I already have in in my hands. The coin celebrate D. Boaventura of Manufahi, one of the great Timor-Leste historical figures and symbol of Timorese nationalism. Was struck in BU finish on specially prepared metal blanks using polished dies. The mintage limit is 3000 pieces, presented in illustrated wallet.
