Gansabhauet is a traditional folk festival in the town of Sursee, Republic of Lucerne

2. Bi-metallic 2 Euro 2014 from Luxembourg....by Martin Peeters, The Netherlands
Luxembourg unveiled the image of one of the two commemorative Bi-metallic 2 Euro coins to be issued in 2014,
specifically dedicated to the "175th Anniversary of the Independence of Luxembourg", expected to be issued in late January
and early February with a volume of 500,000 emission.

Unfortunately coins of Luxembourg, by law, must include the image of Grand Duke Henri, which makes their commemorative
2-euro coins are of the most boring collection. 

Finally, remember that during the second half of 2014 issued a second currency that the reason that will be dedicated is
unknown, but what I can say is that the image will be the Duke.

You have business in Bangkok, Thailand.  During a break in business work, you walk down the street until you see a nice
looking jewelry shop, not far from your hotel.  Your friends have told you of the really great deals in gems and jewelry that
can be found in Bangkok, so you step into the shop where you are immediately greeted by a nicely dresses sales person
who offers you a well chilled drink of pineapple juice; a perfect drink on this hot afternoon.  Soon you are looking at beautiful
displays of black star sapphires, rubies, opals, emeralds and numerous other sparkling stones expertly set in the latest styles. 
Knowing that someone back home will love to have such lovely jewelry, you make several purchases that will make your
colleagues green with envy.  However, after you return to your hotel and show the items to your friends, you discover that
the gems are fake and the settings are plated instead of the solid gold you thought you were buying.
But you know from the study of Thailand Bi-metallic coins that there is an agency within the Commerce Ministry that has been
 very successful at helping unfortunate visitors who have been scammed.  You know, because it was commemorated on a
Bi-metallic coin issued 2002.  Now, what was that agency?

Austria has issued a series of Bi-metallic 25 Euro coins with a core of Niobium. 
Niobium metal exhibits a rather novel characteristic that allows oxidation in predictable colors. 
Austria has utilized this characteristic to produce colored Euro coins since 2003.
There have been three issues using the same color.  Name the color and the years of issue.

Answer to Super Quiz #33
Eight “Bundesländer Series” Bi-metallic 2 Euro coin designs have been issued by Germany thus far. 
Each coin features a landmark.  Which two landmarks (of the eight) are the closest to each other?

The two closest landmarks are the Holston Gate in Lubeck, Scheswig-Holstein and the Schweriner Schloss in Mecklenburg-Volpommern. 
They are located only about 60 km from each other.
